Yonkers Police Seek Driver In Fatal Hit-And-Run
YONKERS, N.Y. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Police are on the hunt for a driver they said fled the scene after fatally striking a 37-year-old woman crossing the street in Yonkers.
The crash happened Saturday evening at the intersection of Warburton Avenue and Babcock Place.
Police withheld the victim's name pending family notification, The Journal News reported.
Anyone with information related to the hit-and-run accident is urged to text police starting with YPD, then the information, and ending with 847411.
