Yoenis Cespedes Arrives At Mets Camp Riding Flashy 3-Wheeled Motorcycle

PORT ST. LUCIE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork)Yoenis Cespedes showed up to spring training Tuesday in a sweet ride.

The Mets slugger pulled up in a three-wheeled Polaris Slingshot motorcycle, customized to look like part race car, part Batmobile. The flashy vehicle is gray with red trim and emblazoned with Cespedes' jersey number, 52, on the hood.

The bike/car was customized by Miami-based The Auto Firm. The company's owner, Alex Vega, told ESPN that Cespedes paid about $68,000 for the Slingshot and the customization. Vega said he repainted it, installed custom-made, leather seats and added a 12-speaker sound system, forged wheels and LED lights.

Vega said it was the eighth vehicle he has customized for Cespedes, who signed a three-year, $75 million contract with the Mets last month.

On Sunday, Cespedes arrived to camp in a custom, monster-sized Ford F-250 pickup truck.
