Brooklyn School Fire Under Investigation; At Least 1 Firefighter Hospitalized

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Police are investigating a fire that tore through a school in Brooklyn early Sunday.

It happened just before 6 a.m. at the Yeled V'Yalda Early Childhood Center on Farragut Road in Canarsie.

It took crews about 40 minutes to get the fire under control.

At least one firefighter was injured and taken to the hospital, but he is expected to be OK.
