Police: Man Groped Woman In Great Hall Of Yankee Stadium

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police were searching Friday for a man who grabbed a woman's buttocks at Yankee Stadium last month.

Around 7 p.m. Sept. 25, the 23-year-old woman was in the Great Hall of Yankee Stadium when the suspect came up and grabbed her buttocks, police said. The suspect then ran off.

The Yankees were about to begin a game against the Chicago White Sox at the time. The White Sox won the game 5-2.

During the course of the investigation, police learned that the suspect was a guest in one of the boxes at the stadium, and it was determined that he frequents Milton, New Jersey, police said.

He was described as a white male in his 30s, standing 5 feet 7 inches tall.
