New York City Ranks 12th On 2021 List Of World's Safest Cities For Travelers

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A new list of the world's safest cities for travelers is out.

For the first time, Denmark's capital city of Copenhagen takes the top spot in the annual Economist Intelligence Unit's Safe City Index.

Toronto made second place. Singapore was ranked third with Sydney and Tokyo rounding out the top five.
