Flag Laying Ceremony Held At Bronx Cemetery For Memorial Day Weekend

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Saturday's rain didn't stop a flag laying ceremony at Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx.

Flags were handed out and then placed at the graves of veterans.

Some 8,500 veterans are buried there.

The city's Department of Veterans Services was among those hosting the event to honor those who sacrificed their lives for our freedoms.
