Long Island Man Accused Of Shooting Gun At Neighbor's Home

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man is accused of shooting at his neighbor's home on Long Island.

On Wednesday night, police said Rocco Colucci was standing at the back door of his $1.5 million home in Woodbury when he fired several rounds from his semi-automatic rifle, WCBS 880's Sophia Hall reported.

The rounds struck a neighbor's home, but although there were people inside, no one was injured.

"Defendent Colucci was placed under arrest at his home without further incident," said Nassau County police officer Jean Deluca. "The semi-automatic rifle, two magazines, and numerous shell casings were recovered at scene. Defendent Colucci is being charged with reckless endangerment, first degree."

In court, Colucci's attorney said his client is innocent.

But according to court documents, authorities said the 59-year-old admitted he fired the shots after he had been drinking.
