N.J. Woman's Obituary Request: 'In Lieu Of Flowers, Please Do Not Vote For Hillary Clinton'
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Some folks ask for flowers. Others want donations to charity.
One New Jersey woman has a pretty unusual request in her obituary.
Elaine Fydrych, nee Szumanski, of Runnemede, N.J. died on Aug. 13 at age 63.
Her obituary describes her as an actor with a "love of the theater, acting and comedy," and recalls her family, friends and career in various shows.
"Elaine requests, 'In lieu of flowers, please do not vote for Hillary Clinton,'" the obituary reads.
In addition to condolence messages, the actress is acquiring fans from beyond the grave.
"Sorry I did not know Elaine. She must have been quite a gal! I will think of her when I cast my ballot for ANYONE other than Hillary!!!" wrote one signer on her condolence message board.
"My sympathy & prayers go out to the Fydrych family & friends. I'll be happy to honor your 'In lieu of flowers' request," wrote another.
