Woman Struck By Train At Lexington Ave 51st Street Subway Station
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - A woman was struck by a train Wednesday afternoon at the Lexington Ave/51st Street subway station on Manhattan's East Side.
The woman fainted and fell on to the tracks in front of an oncoming 6 train at 51st Street and Lexington Avenue, police said.
The incident took place at around 1:36 p.m.
The woman was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
