Woman Pinned Between Taxis In Midtown Manhattan

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A 42-year-old woman was critically injured Monday after being struck and pinned between two taxis in midtown Manhattan, police said.

The woman was loading luggage into the trunk of a cab when she was struck and pinned, police said. It happened shortly before 6 a.m. on Seventh Avenue near 50th Street.

The woman was taken to a hospital with leg injuries and police said she was expected to survive.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
