Man Charged After Woman Killed In Motorcycle Accident On Queensboro Bridge

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A woman was killed early Saturday in an accident between two motorcycles on the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge.

The crash happened around 3:20 a.m. on the Manhattan-bound, lower level of the bridge.

Police said the two motorcycles each had a passenger on the back. One of the bikes rear-ended the other as the drivers were exiting the ramp into Manhattan.

A passenger on the front motorcycle fell off and was struck by the other motorcycle, authorities said. The passenger, a 32-year-old Tasha Rodriguez of the Bronx, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The three other people involved in the crash were taken to a hospital in stable condition.

Jeremy Perez, 28, of Rosedale Avenue, Bronx, was arrested and charged with driving while ability impaired.
