Missing Montclair, N.J. Woman Found Dead At Eagle Rock Reservation

MONTCLAIR, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- A woman was found dead in the Eagle Rock Reservation in West Orange, New Jersey Thursday, eight days after being reported missing in Montclair.

Around 11:30 a.m., police found the remains of Sarah Butler, 20, while searching an area of the reservation, according to the Essex County Prosecutor's office.

Butler had been reported missing in Montclair on Wednesday, Nov. 23, prosecutors said.

The exact cause of Butler's death will be determined by an autopsy by the New Jersey Regional Medical Examiner's Office, prosecutors said. An investigation into her death is being conducted by the Homicide Task Force.
