Woman Charged With Stabbing Man To Death In Southeast Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A woman has been arrested and charged in the fatal stabbing of a man in Bergen Beach, Brooklyn.

Police were dispatched around 8:25 a.m. Monday to 1253 E. 72nd St. in Brooklyn. Upon arriving, they found John Ferraro, 38, at the scene with multiple stab wounds to the torso.

Ferraro was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Later in the day, Jacqueline Carroll, 34, of the same address as Ferraro, was charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon in the case.

Police did not specify the relationship between the man and woman. But a New York Daily News report indicated that Carroll was Ferraro's girlfriend and they had a 4-year-old daughter together.
