73-Year-Old NJ Woman Charged With Fatally Stabbing Husband

UNION TOWNSHIP (CBSNewYork) -- A 73-year-old Union Township woman has been charged with murder after police say she stabbed her husband to death on Monday.

Julia Morris, 73, has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with the death of her husband, George Morris.

Authorities responded to the couple's home in the 300 block of Revere Avenue shortly after 4 p.m. Monday to find the body of the 80-year-old man.

Julia Morris was transported to Overlook Hospital in Summit under police guard for observation and treatment of non life-threatening injuries.

Bail for Morris was set at $300,000.

The incident remains under investigation.
