NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A woman was arrested and charged Thursday with the deadly stabbing of a man in a Jamaica, Queens home.

Police were called in around 9:50 p.m. Wednesday after a man was stabbed in a home at 106-01 155th St. in Queens, police said.

Michael Harris, 46, was found at the scene with numerous stab wounds to the torso, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 33-year-old woman was taken into custody at the scene, police said. The woman, Carmen Rodriguez, was charged Thursday with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

A DNAInfo report said Harris was Rodriguez's boyfriend, and that Rodriguez told police the pair got into a quarrel that turned physical. Harris allegedly bit Rodriguez's finger, and Rodriguez in turn allegedly grabbed a knife and stabbed Harris several times in the chest, back, arms, and legs, the publication reported.
