Woman Accused Of Stealing Nearly $60K Worth Of Legos Out On Bail
HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A Long Island woman was out of custody on bail Monday evening, after being charged with stealing $59,000 worth of Lego sets to sell on eBay.
Gloria Haas, 53, of Island Park was arraigned this past Friday on charges of grand larceny.
Nassau County detectives said she stole the toys from a storage facility in Island Park.
They said she took the Legos to another storage facility in Rockville Centre.
Information on an attorney for Haas was not immediately available. A phone number listed for her address was not in service this past weekend.
