Police: Man Arrested After Allegedly Assaulting Woman, Taking Child In Williamsburg
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man was in police custody late Monday, after police alleged he assaulted a woman and fled with her child in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
Police said the man assaulted the 39-year-old woman around 9:45 a.m. at 84 Ross St. in Brooklyn.
The man then fled with the woman's 2-year-old child, police said.
By noon, the man was in custody and the child was safe, police said.
