Police: Suspects Threw Man, 67, To Ground In The Bronx

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police were searching late Wednesday for a suspect who robbed a 67-year-old man and threw him to the ground in the Williamsbridge section of the Bronx.

Around 10:55 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, the man was walking near 212th Street and White Plains Road when the suspects grabbed him, threw him to the ground, and took an undetermined amount of money from his pockets, police said.

The suspects then ran off, police said. The victim refused medical attention at the scene.

A surveillance video appeared to show three suspects, with one of them throwing the man to the ground.
