WFAN Radiothon Is Friday; Items Being Auctioned To Benefit Connecticut Cancer Patients

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- WFAN's Mike Francesa will host Radiothon on Friday, a fundraiser to benefit the Connecticut Sports Foundation Against Cancer.

Francesa will take his show on the road to the Wolf Den at Mohegan Sun. Radiothon will air from 1 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and can be heard online here.

Francesa will be joined by guests such as former Yankees John Ellis, Roy White and Dave Winfield throughout the day. They'll auction off items including the chance to meet Yankees manager Joe Girardi, a Mets experience, an African safari and tickets to "Wicked" on Broadway. The Connecticut Sports Foundation Against Cancer was founded by Ellis, a cancer survivor, in 1987. Its mission is to financially help cancer patients and Connecticut and fund cancer research.
