Westchester Teens Face Hate Crime Charges In Black Friday Assaults At Palisades Mall

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Two of three suspects in a series of assaults at the Palisades Mall early Black Friday face hate crime charges.

The three assaults took place at the mall between 2:30 a.m. - 3:30 a.m.

Chris Bujaj and Ardijan Mehaj, both 17, were arrested Monday, Clarkstown Police said.

Bujaj, of Tuckahoe, and Mejah, of Yonkers, face assault as a hate crime charges due to things they allegedly said during one of the assaults, according to police.

They're being held on $25,000 bail.

Police are still hunting for an unknown third suspect, who is described as white, 5'6"-5'8",  seen wearing a black vest, grey hoodie and dark jeans.
