Westchester Police Helicopter Makes Emergency Landing
ALPINE, N.J. (CBSNewYork) - A Westchester police helicopter made an emergency landing at State Line Lookout Thursday morning.

There were no injuries.
The helicopter had been flying over the Palisades to assist in the search for a lost hiker.
The officers on board saw and smelled smoke and brought the chopper in for an emergency landing in the parking lot.

The helicopter will be towed back to Westchester County Airport where it will be examined and repaired.
