4 hurt when NYC taxi crashes on West 42nd Street
A New York City taxi cab crashed into a pole on West 42nd Street Thursday afternoon.
It happened at around 2:30 p.m. at 42nd Street and 12th Avenue.
Video from the scene shows numerous emergency responders surrounding the cab. The cab's airbags can be seen deployed.
Four people were hospitalized, according to the FDNY. Several of them had to be pulled out of the crashed cab.
There was no immediate word on what led up to the crash.
