10/29 CBS2 Morning Weather Headlines

By Justin Lewis, CBS 2 Meteorologist/Morning Weather Producer

A few showers will pass through the area today, but we're not expecting a washout. Keep a small umbrella handy through at least the first part of the evening.

Out-the-door temperatures tomorrow will be about 15 degrees cooler than this morning with highs only in the upper 50s. The good news is, we'll see a good amount of sunshine.

The kids stay dry on Halloween. The main threat above will be some added cloud cover. Keep them dressed warm though, as it will be on the chilly side for trick-or-treating.

This weekend features a strengthening coastal storm that will bring some rain showers to the area on Saturday. Expect gust winds and even colder temperatures both days with sunshine returning on Sunday.
