CBS2 Election Day Afternoon Weather Forecast

High pressure will remain in control and deliver plenty of sunshine on this Election Day. And will be even warmer than yesterday -- about 10° warmer at that -- with highs in the low to mid 60s.

For the most part, it will remain quiet tonight, but a nearing cold front will deliver some extra cloud cover as we approach dawn. Temps will only fall into the low 50s or so.

Showers will make an early appearance to our NW tomorrow and then gradually swing through our area. And the rain will be generally light, but will certainly dampen things around the area. As for temps, they'll be a touch cooler in the upper 50s to near 60°.

And on Thursday, we'll bring back some sunshine and usher in a cooler, drier air mass. Highs that day will be in the mid 50s.
