Water Main Break Sends Spectacular Flood Onto I-280 In East Orange

EAST ORANGE, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- A main break sent water shooting down like a waterfall Wednesday evening, beneath an overpass on Interstate 280 in East Orange, New Jersey.

The view from Chopper 2 showed the main break under the Burnett Street overpass on the westbound side of the expressway, between Exits 12 and 11 near the Garden State Parkway.

Water was shooting down forcefully from the overpass onto a lane of traffic. No lanes were closed, although no one was driving in the affected lane.
