Water main break briefly snarls Manhattan's West Side

NEW YORK - A water main break snarls traffic on Manhattan's West Side Christmas Eve morning. 

It happened around 9 a.m. at 57th Street and 12th Avenue. 

The break has since been put under control. 

No injuries were reported.
