Islanders Fan During Broadcast: 'My Son Was Conceived Back In That Parking Lot'

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Nassau Coliseum: proud home of six retired numbers, four Stanley Cup championships and (at least) one score in the parking lot.

Yep. On Monday night, an original Islanders season-ticket holder named Joy told everyone in TV land a little too much information.

"Back in 1982, my son was conceived back in that parking lot here at an Islander game," she said while being interviewed during the Isles' loss to the Rangers on MSG.

Um, thanks?

Unfortunately her story reached a premature... you know.

"I went into labor during the Stanley Cup game, 1982-83 season (and) was able to come back for the last game and watch the Islanders win their next Stanley Cup," she said.

Joy joined WFAN's "Boomer & Carton" show on Tuesday and said she wouldn't "kiss and tell" about whether that was her only parking lot rendezvous.

"It was a 1979 (Lincoln) Town Car," she said. "There was a lot of room in that car."
