VIDEO: Several Sharks Swim Close To Shore At Monmouth Beach

MONMOUTH BEACH, N.J. (CBSNewYork) - Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water.

The same day a shark was spotted at Coney Island, several appeared in Monmouth Beach, swimming just a few feet from shore.

The sharks were spotted Tuesday morning at around 9:30 a.m. near 45 Ocean Avenue.

There's no immediate word on the kind of sharks they were, but Mark Levine told the Asbury Park Press they were likely juveniles.
