Video Captures Wild Brawl Between Rangers, Flyers Fans In Philly

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Game 6 between the New York Rangers and Philadelphia Flyers got nasty in the stands with fans from both teams engaged in a wild brawl that was caught on camera.

Police told the New York Daily News they made no arrests after fists went flying Tuesday night in Section 209 at Philadelphia's Wells Fargo Center.

WARNING: VIDEO CONTAINS VIOLENCE

In the video, a New York fan at the center of the fight is yanked to the next row and punched before the fracas is broken up to chants of "Rangers suck!"

The Daily News said the melee broke out toward the end of the Rangers' 5-2 loss.

Fan-on-fan violence isn't new to the rivalry. Flyers fans were filmed battering two Rangers fans outside Philadelphia's iconic Geno's Steaks following the 2012 Winter Classic. One of the men beaten that night was later identified as Iraq war veteran and off-duty Woodbridge, N.J. police officer Neal Auricchio.

New York and Philadelphia will play a winner-take-all Game 7 on Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden.
