Video Captures Driver Smashing Into Mineola Building Before Taking Off
MINEOLA, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) – Police are searching for a driver who crashed his car into a building on Long Island, leaving significant damage, and took off.
Surveillance footage shows the car speeding down the street and swerving out of control before plowing into a building on Herricks Road in Mineola.
The driver of the silver vehicle then backed the car up and took off.
However, the driver is then again caught on camera returning to the scene to apparently pick up pieces of the car that may have fallen off on impact.
