NYPD: Duo Steals 200 Pairs Of Underwear From Staten Island Victoria's Secret
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are searching for two suspects who allegedly stole around 200 pairs of underwear from a Victoria's Secret on Staten Island last month.
The Victoria's Secret at the Staten Island Mall on Richmond Avenue was hit twice by the suspects throughout January 2016, according to police.
On Jan. 1, the duo stole around 80 pairs of underwear, valued at $1,000. They returned to the store on Jan. 16, where they took another 120 pairs of underwear, valued at $1,500, and left without paying, police said.
Surveillance video released by the NYPD shows the female suspect acting as a lookout, while a male suspect stole the panties off of a display.
