Veterans Week Kicks Off In New York City

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- New York City is honoring the men and women who serve in the United States armed forces the week leading up to Veterans Day.

Capt. Thomas Morkan, of the U.S. Coast Guard, stopped by CBS2 on Sunday to discuss some of the events taking place this week, including the city's annual Veterans Day Parade on Nov. 11.
