Cops: Suspect Attacked Woman, Stole Purse In UWS Apartment Building

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for a suspect wanted in connection with a violent robbery on the Upper West Side.

On July 26, at 3 a.m. a 24-year-old woman was attacked in the vestibule of an apartment building.

The suspect was seen on surveillance video pushing the woman to the floor as he ripped her purse away.

Authorities said the bag was later found with everything still inside.
