2 Seriously Hurt In Early-Morning Fire At Upper West Side Apartment Building

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Eight people were injured, two seriously, when a fire broke out early Friday morning on Manhattan's Upper West Side.

Crews were called to a four-story apartment building on West 76th Street near West End Avenue around 1:35 a.m.

Fire officials said the flames were on the second floor.

Eight adults were injured, two seriously.

There's no word on what caused the fire.
