Man Dies After Stabbing At Upper Manhattan Nightclub

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Friday were searching for the assailant or assailants in a stabbing that killed a man in an Upper Manhattan nightclub this week.

Around 4:20 a.m. Wednesday, police were called for a large quarrel at the Opus Lounge, at 417 W. 202nd St. between Ninth and Tenth avenues in Inwood, the NYPD said.

Officers found a 38-year-old man with a stab wound to the chest at the scene, police said.

The man – identified as Eddy Guzman of the Bronx – was rushed to NewYork-Presbyterian/The Allen Hospital where he was pronounced dead on Thursday, police said.

As of Friday night, there were no arrests in the case and the investigation continued.
