Union: Little Cooperation From NFL, Ravens On Rice Investigation

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- An attorney involved in the National Football League Players Association's investigation into the domestic violence case against Ray Rice said the league has not been fully cooperative in the probe.

The attorney told The Associated Press the NFL has not provided documents and witnesses requested by the NFLPA's investigators, while the Baltimore Ravens have refused any cooperation.

Attorney Richard Craig Smith is now questioning the league's sincerity in calling for transparency, saying all parties should cooperate in both investigations.

Rice, who has been suspended indefinitely, was originally given a two-game suspension for violating the league's personal conduct policy.

Rice was suspended indefinitely after video of him hitting his then-fiancee was released publicly.
