Black Bear Spotted In Westfield, Cranford And Garwood Tranquilized
GARWOOD, N.J. (CBSNewYork) - A black bear's roaming has come to an end in Union County.
The bear was spotted first in Brown Terrace in Cranford before making its way to nearby Garwood.
It caused a delay in the opening of Brookside Place School.
The bear was tranquilized at around 1:30 p.m.
A bear that was tracked to Walnut St in Garwood has been sedated by members of NJ Fish & Wildlife. He is being transported back to the wild.

Garwood Police said the bear will be released in the wild.
