Driver Injured When Car Takes Down Utility Pole In N.J.

UNION, N.J. (CBSNewYork) – A driver was injured when his car slammed into a utility pole early Friday morning in New Jersey.

It happened around 9 a.m. on Chestnut Street in Union.

Police said the driver was taken to the hospital to be treated for cuts.

PSEG, which owns the pole, said power in the area was not affected.
