Driver, Deliveryman Hurt When Car Plows Into UES Starbucks

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Two people were hospitalized Monday when a car slammed into a Starbucks Coffee on the Upper East Side.

The car was seen on surveillance video crossing the curb and slamming into the Starbucks at First Avenue and 69th Street, police said.

The car hit the front of the store and struck a deliveryman, police said.

The deliveryman and the driver were both taken to NewYork Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center with minor injuries, police said.

No one had been charged in the incident as of Monday night.
