Tyler Stephenson-Moore leads Stony Brook over Hofstra 63-59 in Coastal Athletic Association semifinals

Caitlin Clark becomes leading scorer in college basketball history

WASHINGTON — Tyler Stephenson-Moore had 23 points in Stony Brook's 63-59 victory over Hofstra on Monday night in the semifinals of the Coastal Athletic Association Tournament.

Stony Brook will play Charleston in the championship game on Tuesday. The winner earns an automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament.

Stephenson-Moore added nine rebounds and three steals for the Seawolves (20-14). Chris Maidoh shot 5 of 7 from the field and 3 for 4 from the line to add 13 points. Aaron Clarke had 12 points.

The Pride (20-13) were led in scoring by Tyler Thomas, who finished with 32 points, nine rebounds, six assists and three steals. Jaquan Carlos added 13 points, six assists and three steals.
