Two Charged In Connection With Beating Of Elderly Man In Williamsburg

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- Two young women have been accused of attacking an elderly man in Brooklyn.

Police responded to the scene on Taylor Street in Williamsburg, and arrested an 18 and 20-year-old suspect.

The 79-year-old man said that the women hit him on the back of the head and knocked him to the ground.

The suspects were charged with misdemeanor assault.

The motive for the attack is unclear.
