NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Students and parents at a Queens high school have had enough of their interim principal, and are concerned that she could wind up with a full-time gig.

"Wow, I can't believe how she just spoke to that teacher," PTA President Susan Karlic said, describing the behavior of interim-principal Rosemarie Jahoda.

Karlic's daughter is a student at Townsend High School in Flushing, where students have serious concerns about Jahoda's behavior, 1010 WINS' Andrew Falzon reported.

Franco Scardino is a social teachers at the school and represents the teachers union.

"When she was asked, she flatly denied ever saying, she said 'let me tell you something, that's not how I speak," Scardino said.
