COLUMBIA, S.C. (CBSNewYork/AP)Tim Tebow drove in his first runs in nearly a month with two RBIs in the Columbia Fireflies' road win against the Delmarva (Maryland) Shorebirds.

The former NFL quarterback has 11 RBIs on the season with the New York Mets' Single-A affiliate, but also has struck out 31 times. Weather wreaked havoc during the Fireflies' road trip this week with games canceled or postponed at Delmarva and at the Lakewood (New Jersey) BlueClaws.

Still, Columbia went 4-0 with Tebow playing in three of the contests.

A look how Tebow has fared this season:

AT THE PLATE: Tebow was 3-for-12 at the plate this week. He had two RBIs and five strikeouts in three games.

ON THE SEASON: Tebow is hitting .243 (25-for-103) with 11 RBIs and 31 strikeouts.

HEDGING HIS BETS?: Last Monday, ESPN announced it had signed Tebow to a multiyear deal to continue as a college football analyst for the SEC Network and other ESPN programs. ESPN said Tebow's duties would not conflict with his pursuit of a pro baseball career.

LEAVING SOON?: With Tebow and the Fireflies playing in Lakewood — the closest South Atlantic League stop to Columbia's parent organization — the buzz was the Mets were pondering when to move Tebow up the minor-league ladder. Tebow and the Fireflies say there's no timetable for how long the former Heisman Trophy winner will remain with the team. Tebow has gotten hits in 11 of his past 17 games.

WHAT'S NEXT: The Fireflies finish their road trip at Lakewood with a doubleheader Monday and a game Tuesday. They return home Thursday to start a four-game series with the West Virginia Power.
