In an interview with Fox News, the former Denver Broncos and New York Jets quarterback said running for office "would be intriguing."

"If there's a chance you can make a difference some day in something, then that would be intriguing," Tebow said.

However, it won't be happening anytime soon.

"I don't know in this time of my life," Tebow told Fox News.

This isn't the first time Tebow has talked about dabbling in politics. In an interview with ESPN in 2012, the former Heisman-winning quarterback said he would consider running for office.

"I haven't ruled it out. Whatever avenue I feel like I can make a difference in, I'd love to do. I haven't ruled out anything like that. It won't be anytime soon in my future, but it'll be something I'll at least look at and consider one day," Tebow told ESPN at the time.

Tebow hasn't played in the NFL since his only season with the Jets in 2012. He was in camp with the New England Patriots in 2013 and the Philadelphia Eagles in 2015, but was cut before the season started both time.
