Three Men Sought In Williamsburg Assault, Robbery

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are searching for three men who they said assaulted and robbed a man outside a store in Brooklyn earlier this month.

The incident occurred on Roebling Street in Williamsburg around 3:20 a.m. on Oct. 1.

The suspects came up to the 52-year-old victim and started beating him, police said.

During the struggle, one of the suspects pulled out a gun and hit the man across the face with it, police said.

The suspects then robbed the man and took off, police said.

Police believe the suspects are all Hispanic men in their 20s.

One of the suspects is 5-feet-8-inches tall, 170 pounds and was wearing a dark colored jacket with stripes on the sleeves and dark colored jeans, police said. Another suspect is also 5-feet-8-inches tall, 200 pounds and was wearing a red jacket with dark colored jeans, police said. The third suspect is 5-feet-10-inches tall, 170 pounds and was wearing a dark colored jacket with leather sleeves, dark colored jeans and a black baseball cap, police said.
