Action Taken After CBS2 Demanded Answers About Third Avenue Hole In Murray Hill
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Action was taken after CBS2 demanded answers about a deep hole on Third Avenue.
A large metal plate was placed to cover the hole near 32nd Street in Murray Hill. Barriers are also surrounding the work site.
Residents complained last week that the hole seemed to be growing fast.
The city said the cause appeared to be defective Con Edison infrastructure.
