There She Blows! Another Whale Spotted Off Rockaway Beach

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - A group of beachgoers got quite a surprise Tuesday while trying to beat the summer swelter at Rockaway Beach.

Thomas O'Callaghan told CBSNewYork.com he spotted a whale breaching at around 2 p.m. at Beach 128th Street in Belle Harbor.

It's not the first time whales have been spotted off the coast of New York City this summer.

Earlier this summer, CBS 2 reported more humpback whales are spending time in the region.
