The CBS2 This Morning Team Tries To 'Escape The Room'

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - An interactive game called Escape the Room" is taking over the city.

Players are locked in a room and given just 60 minutes to earn freedom by finding hidden objects and solving clues. They're also fed hints by employees watching from hidden cameras.

CBS2's John Elliott, Chris Wragge, Mary Calvi and Alex Denis took on the challenge as a team.

When they arrived at Escape the Room in Midtown, they weren't sure what to expect.

According to game guide, only about 20 percent of the people make it out of the room.

And with those words of encouragement, the team was off.
