For those with a serious sweet tooth, head over to Duet Brasserie in the West Village. Their Dulce De Leche Donuts ($14) are served warm and covered with powdered sugar. These bite-sized delicacies, also known as Russian ponchiki, are filled with dulce de leche that has been tempered with pastry cream, making it slightly less sweet. As if that isn't enough, they're served with a small tube of filling for you to add to each bite (or take home for later). Don't be afraid to get your hands sticky – in fact, it's encouraged.

Those looking to dip their donuts into something decadent should stop by A Voce in Columbus Circle. Their Bamboloni (Italian doughnuts) are served with chocolate hazelnut fonduta (warm bitter chocolate sauce) and maldon salt. This dolci will cost you $12 but can you really put a price on deliciousness? We think not. Rumor has it their Madison location serves their Bamboloni with a salted caramel sauce. Swoon.
