Boomer Goes All Out, Broadcasts In Full Rangers Face Paint For Game 7

NEW YORK (WFAN) -- No, there's nothing wrong with your television.

And no, that's not a clown.

It's Boomer Esiason, broadcasting Tuesday from WFAN's "Boomer & Carton" studios in full New York Rangers face paint.

"Does it get any better than this? This is what it's all about," Boomer told WFAN co-host Craig Carton ahead of tonight's winner-take-all game against the Penguins. "I told you that I would do this when we got to Game 7, which I told you was gonna happen. You didn't believe me. You scoffed at me after Game 4."

The Rangers have won their last two games to even their best-of-seven series at three games apiece. Game 7 is in Pittsburgh.

Boomer insisted all along that New York would go the distance despite a 3-1 series hole. He was challenged to do the show in face paint if he was right, he accepted, and here we are.

"I'm gonna do it and I'm gonna do it proudly, and I'm gonna root my team on," Boomer said. "And I can't wait for 7 o'clock tonight. How 'bout that?"
